Can I order windows with patterned glass?
We can fit bevelled glass to your UPVC window, bevelled glazing is the modern equivalent of stained glass, evoking quality, taste, and individuality. Bevelled glass adds to your home’s kerb appeal, as well as its value.
UPVC windows and double glazing are a combination of different materials and there is a great deal of flexibility about how they can be used to create the perfect look and feel for your home. Frame fabricators are able to shape the windows to fit the apertures in your building and to accommodate a wide variety of different glazing panels.
Bevelled or patterned glass is part of the double-glazing unit that will be fitted into the frame. The glazing unit fits into the slots in the frame based on its thickness, so different frame profiles may be needed to fit different thicknesses of glazing unit - an example of this would be double vs. triple glazing.
While new panels can be retrofitted in the future, it is much better to specify the type of glazing that you want when you speak to your local installer, as they will then be able to design a system which will improve the visual appeal of your home while also maximising energy efficiency.
